According to the new pension scheme, you can change your fund manager once a year and switch schemes twice a year. NPS funds can be invested in different types of assets: equities, corporate debts, and government bonds. These are referred to as Scheme E, Scheme C, and Scheme G, respectively. You can verify the performance and annual returns of all these schemes managed by PRFDA fund managers on the NPS Trust website.
If you choose a conservative investment option, you can select the LC50 option, where 50% of your funds will be invested in equities, based on age criteria. Alternatively, if you select the LC25 option, 25% of your funds will be invested in equities.
