The Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) in Delhi and NCR has decided to revise package rates for various treatment procedures following concerns over discrepancies in the existing rates notified in OM No. S.11045/36/2012-CGHS (HEC) dated 1.10.2014. This decision aims to address stakeholder feedback and ensure alignment with current healthcare standards and economic realities. The revision seeks to improve transparency and accessibility to quality healthcare services for CGHS beneficiaries. The Directorate of CGHS will oversee the implementation and effectiveness of these revised rates, underscoring its commitment to providing reliable healthcare to government employees, pensioners, and entitled beneficiaries.

Reimbursement to beneficiaries and empanelled hospitals will be capped at the ceiling rate or actual expenses, whichever is lesser. All other terms and conditions concerning CGHS package rates remain unchanged. These revised rates will be effective from the date of issuance until further notice and apply across all CGHS cities.
