Steps to Access Post Office e-Passbook
- Scan the QR Code
Quickly access the e-passbook service by scanning the QR code provided by the Post Office or at your nearest branch. - Visit the Official Website
Alternatively, you can visit the official Post Office websites:- Go to IPPB Online Services
- Or visit www.indiapost.gov.in
- Click on “Banking & Remittances”
- Select the “e-Passbook” option
- Access Account Information
After logging in, customers can view, download, or print account details for the following types of accounts:- Savings Account
- Recurring Deposit (RD)
- Sukanya Samriddhi Account (SSA)

- Registered Mobile Number Required:
Customers must use the mobile number registered with their Post Office account for OTP authentication. - Mini Statement Feature:
The mini statement option provides details of your last 10 transactions. - Detailed Statement:
You can view detailed statements for up to 3 months at a time. For instance, if you need a statement from January to June 2024, you will have to generate two separate statements: one from January to March and another from April to June. - Net Banking/IVR Requirement:
To use the e-passbook service, net banking or IVR facility must be enabled for your account. Without these services, accessing the e-passbook is not possible. - Email ID and Mother’s Name Mandatory:
For accessing the e-passbook service, your registered email ID and the account holder’s mother’s name are compulsory. Ensure these details are up-to-date in your account records.
