The Central Government has recently implemented the Aadhar Enabled Biometric Attendance System (AEBAS) to streamline attendance management across offices. As part of this initiative, employees can now use their personal mobile devices to mark biometric attendance. This post outlines the necessary steps for setting up the system on both Android and Apple devices, based on the official communication from the Karnataka Postal Circle dated 18th October 2024.

- Face Personal Client App: Android users can download it from attendance.gov.in or central.attendance.gov.in. For iPhone users, the app can be downloaded as the “AadhaarBAS App” from the AppStore.
Configuration Steps
- While configuring the app, select “Central (Non-Delhi Central Attendance)” under the domain section.
- Choose the correct office location to ensure accurate attendance logging.
