Empowering India’s Youth

Prime Minister Narendra Modi took an inspiring step forward in advancing employment opportunities by distributing more than 51,000 appointment letters to young professionals during a nationwide Rozgar Mela, conducted virtually. The event spanned 40 locations across India and was geared towards appointments in numerous ministries and departments, including Revenue, Higher Education, Home Affairs, Defense, and Health and Family Welfare.

In addition to their new roles, these recruits will have access to essential foundational training through the online module Karmayogi Prarambh, available on the iGOT Karmayogi portal, which aims to equip them with essential skills.

A Festive Boost for India’s Workforce

PM Modi expressed his excitement, stating, “In this festive season, it’s a pleasure to welcome 51,000 youth into government roles, reflecting our commitment to providing stable government jobs to countless young Indians.” He extended warm congratulations to the youth and reiterated the government’s dedication to continuous job creation across BJP and NDA-led states.

Special Mention for Haryana

The Prime Minister also extended his congratulations specifically to new appointees from Haryana, highlighting the state’s unique employment policies, which are characterized by transparency and fairness, ensuring job placements without added costs or favoritism.

Innovation and Technological Growth

Reflecting on India’s journey with technology, PM Modi noted that earlier, advanced tech would reach India only after becoming obsolete in other countries, leading to lost opportunities. However, he assured the youth that this mindset is changing under his leadership. India now aims to lead, from the space sector to semiconductors, from electronics to electric vehicles, ensuring that new technologies also bring fresh employment prospects to the nation.
