Productivity Linked Bonus for the Accounting year 2023-24.

The DOP vide its memo F. No. 26-1/2020-PAP has approved a Productivity Linked Bonus equivalent to 60 days’ emoluments for the following Department of Posts employees:

  1. Regular Employees (MTS, Group ‘C’, non-gazetted Group ‘B’):
    • Bonus calculated as: Average Emoluments×60 days/30.4\text{Average Emoluments} \times \text{60 days} / 30.4
    • Emoluments capped at ₹7,000 per month.
    • Adjustments for periods of EOL, suspension, or resignation.
  2. Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDSs):
    • Bonus based on Average Monthly TRCA, capped at ₹7,000.
    • Proportional calculation for GDSs with partial service or those who left after 31.03.2024.
  3. Full-Time Casual Laborers:
    • Ad-hoc bonus calculated on notional wages of ₹1,200, with adjustments for actual wages below this amount.

Payment Details:

  • Bonuses rounded to the nearest rupee.
  • Chargeable to “Salaries” under relevant accounts for FY 2024-25.
  • Circles to report total expenditure and number of employees paid to the Budget Section.

Approval: Hon’ble Finance Minister via Ministry of Finance ID Note dated 11.10.2024.

Earlier while we were in service were getting bonus before Puja. I think this is the 2nd consecutive year, the postal employees are to be satisfied that atleast bonus order is issued before Puja. Forget about payment.
