Sir/Madam,

With reference to the subject mentioned above, it is brought to your kind attention that the Department’s Media Policy was last reviewed in 2007, and the revised policy was circulated through this office letter No. Z-4/2007-BD&MD, dated 19.06.2007.

  1. The advertisement rates for various postal stationery are now outdated and are under review for potential revision. Currently, there are no rates for multi-color advertisements on POSB Passbooks, back of MPCM receipts issued at counters, or for display advertisements (posters, hoardings, standees, flex banners) inside and outside postal buildings, MMS Vans, or digital advertisements on LCD/LED screens, Facebook page of DoP, X (Twitter) page of India Post, and the India Post website.
  2. To align these rates with market trends and account for inflation in print media rates, the Department requires data on the footfall and effectiveness of these media advertising channels in each Circle to ensure the best revenue outcomes. Each Circle has unique advertising opportunities, and it is crucial to receive feedback to enhance Media Post’s revenue potential.
  3. Accordingly, the competent authority has decided to seek valuable suggestions/comments/inputs from all Circles to maximize the productivity of Media Post. Circles are requested to submit their feedback on the following points:i. Necessary modifications or alterations in the existing Media Post services to meet current market requirements.
ii. Additional activities that can be included in the current Media Post policy.
iii. Revision of rates for existing Media Post activities to reflect current market trends.
iv. Engaging aggregators for the Media Post service.
    v. Proposed rates for new activities not yet priced.

Your prompt and valuable feedback will contribute significantly to enhancing the effectiveness and revenue potential of Media Post.

Thanking you
