Step-by-Step Solution

Open Device Manager:
Right-click on This PC and select Manage.
Go to Device Manager and look for your iris scanner, which may be labeled as “Ryos Sensor” or similar.

Update Driver:
Right-click on the device name, then select Update Driver.
Choose Browse my computer for drivers, then Let me pick from a list.
Select CMI Tech from the list to update the driver.

Verify Functionality:
After updating, restart the Aadhaar software and check if the iris scanner is now operational.

Additional Tips and Requirements

Device Compatibility: Ensure you’re using an STQC-certified device, such as the CMI Tech BMT-20, specifically designed for Aadhaar verification processes. These devices generally support rapid capture with high accuracy for first-time users.

RD Service Registration: Some iris scanners require RD (Registered Device) service registration to work with Aadhaar software. You may need to re-register or update RD service drivers, especially if using newer Aadhaar client versions
