1. Verify Agent Status
First, confirm the agent’s current status by checking if they are indeed inactive or have an expired license. Access this information through the Agent Maintenance (HAGMT) menu in Finacle.
2. Navigate to Agent Maintenance
In Finacle, enter the HAGMT
menu option to open the Agent Maintenance module. This module allows users to manage agent profiles and update their statuses.
3. Locate the Agent Record
Input the agent’s unique code into the Agent Code field, then search to bring up their profile. Verifying the exact agent ensures that any actions taken are applied to the correct profile.
4. Update or Deactivate the Profile
For some users, Finacle may not allow direct deletion. If you encounter restrictions, change the agent’s status to “Inactive” or “Terminated.” This update will block any future transactions under that agent’s profile. Supervisors or CPAs may have limitations here; if so, proceed to the next step.
